A year before he kindled the light at Lindisfarne, Albert Weiland demonstrated the transmutation of simple into complex elements, with a controlled release of power, in a device no larger than a desktop computer. He called it his Graalreaktor. The world had its holy grail of energy and a problem It worked only in Weiland's presence, and he would not say how. The revelation by so eminent a physicist of what appeared to be cold fusion set markets reeling. The authorities occupied Weiland Labs, confiscated the old man's cryptic notes, and assigned teams to evaluate his work, but to no avail. Still his device worked, and his peers demanded answers. "You do not smash a river but harvest it" Weiland said. "So, my Graalreaktor is a lens focusing influences already present". Unable to reproduce Weiland's work, his peers shunned and the press mocked his grail reactor. "I have given you a vessel like the sun, rooted in the firmament, but you shall not have it until you solve a mystery" he countered. "In cold stone I shall kindle a light that will never fail; who solves the enigma will have my Graalreaktor". And so Weiland withdrew to Lindisfarne to work his magic.

Another engaging novel by the author of the Blue Shaman Trilogy, The Light at Lindisfarne is a timely release, a story the likes of which has not been written to date by any author I'm aware of. Nor could it have been written by anyone but Hugh Malafry, knowing his style of visioning potential futures for humanity with his creative imagination. His story telling reflects a perspective that originates in higher dimensions of consciousness than most of us live out of on a day-to-day basis and lands firmly on the ground of contemporary life in the "mind-made world" of competition, power mongering, and survival. Couldn't put it down. Totally engaging. A must read!Product details

The Light at Lindisfarne Hugh Malafry 9781468575484 Books Reviews
As with other wonderful stories, I didn't want The Light at Lindisfarne by Hugh Malafry to end. I played a tug of war with myself, torn between slowing down to savor the rich descriptions of characters and settings versus speed reading to follow the story as I was drawn into the intrigue of solving the mysteries.
The dialogues and conversations were witty and humorous weaving in and out of esoteric thought. In deft language it has all the qualities of an adventure novel and at the same time is chock full of ageless wisdom for modern times; ancient archetypes and sci-fi satisfaction coupled with an astute worldview.
If it dawns on one in wisdom early on in the reading, the experience could turn into a journey of rediscovery of one's own true identity in the Light. And as always with Malafry's books, it leaves me wanting more!

All I will say is, read this book! There are many layers woven of intrigue, wonder, and areas where the reader will find ones self even questioning his own life story!
